This is so far my favorite Hilton – and I’ve been to quite a few! I was looking for a calm, relaxing vacation, where I could read, reflect, exercise, sleep and relax… and I got all of it here. Rabia at reception welcomed me warmly and gave me a tour of the property, which she said was built about one year earlier. She gave me an upgrade to a beautiful room with a terrace, facing the pool and ocean beyond. Everything is very new, modern and clean. (Housekeeping did a meticulous job of cleaning the room). Breakfast was soooo delicious – from the omelette station to the freshly squeezed juice (carrot, pineapple, apple, orange…), cappuccinos and fresh baked goods. I would eat so much, I’d skip lunch (and sometimes dinner). The hotel staff, who were all very friendly, remembered my orders since I stayed for quite a few days – it felt like I was at my neighborhood café! Dinner is offered at the hotel as well – there are options for seafood, tagine, etc. with dishes and sides ranging in price from approximately $7 to $20. The gym was well equipped (cardio, weights, a scale, towels, water, etc) and spacious. Most days I had it all to myself. There are several pools (4 outside, I believe, and 1 indoor, which is heated). I saw only one or two people swimming the whole time I was there. (The staff told me I came at a quiet time of year, so I was lucky.) The grounds are also beautiful. Just out the back gate, (which is manned by security), is the promenade and beach. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Taghazout. I felt very safe. One day there was quite a bit of noise from renovations to the pool, and when I raised it with the front desk, they offered me a complimentary deep tissue massage in return. (There’s an adjoining spa and hammam. My massage was fabulous.) The renovation noise also diminished over the subsequent days. Overall, a place that I would love to visit again.

If you like walking into a restaurant and being ignored for the entire evening, you will love this place as you can be certain this will happen at every meal. If you also like repeatedly not being able to get into your room because the digital card reader is broken (7 times) this is the place for you. Jokes aside, this place is terrible value for money. They knew we had a poor experience so offered us a voucher for a discount at our next Hilton Hotel stay - but 4 months later, despite chasing, we have still not received it. We've stayed at a few hotels in Taghazout, and this one is the worst. Stay at the Riu - its incredible

After seeing numerous positive reviews, I’ve had a high hope for this trip to be a relaxing moment for the family and spend a good time but it wasn’t even close. The facility is modern and provides wonderful views and that’s about it. The staff is horrible. I have visited many hotels in the world and never seen staff arguing with customers. The obvious remark is that there are way less staff to handle the number of customers. The breakfast buffet is a joke. If you miss the first hour, they run out of many items and you need to deal with it. Morning, there are no labels in front of the dishes, one spoon gets used across multiple options to fill in plates. No consideration for allergic people or contamination … During the dinner buffet, there is no water. Yes, you heard it right. If you made you reservation and chose to pay for the buffet option, you have to pay extra for water ( 50 Dhs in summer 2024) Who on earth offers a buffet with no water? The lunch options are all pricey and range from bad to average. One day, they made us wait over one hour and forgot to put some appetizers to give us bland cold pasta. After I made the feedback, one guy who seem to manage the restaurant said he will do something about it to catch up and he did nothing. Not sure if he forgot or just wanted to calm us hoping we will forget. The cleanliness is another lacking area. The carpet in the room looked very dirty with small crumbles and did not improve during our stay. The hammam spa was the only sunshine and was clean with excellent service. Overall, I don’t recommend at all. There are way better options in the area with superior services.
